Foundations for Learning

The mission of The Preschool of Whitehouse United Methodist Church is to provide a loving, nurturing, safe environment in which all children, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, are welcomed and given ample opportunity to learn and grow. It is a firmly held belief at The Preschool that the early years are key years in the development of all children.

Our program is designed to help increase the skills of problem solving, critical thinking, reasoning and creating which provides our students with the foundation they require for future educational adventures throughout their lifetime. We provide varied opportunities for growth and stimulation in all areas of development: physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional.

Our differentiated curriculum is based on developmental guidelines with the understanding that no two children will demonstrate behaviors in exactly the same way at the same time. We welcome your child to our school family at his or her present developmental stage and together with your help, will gently provide guidance toward positive growth and development.

I am overjoyed at my son’s progress. This is an excellent program. The teachers are super knowledgeable and that makes a big difference. Kudos!Kelly, mother of 4 ½ year old
